The vast range of pathogens means that very few methods of decontamination suit all needs. We work with you to assess the level of cleanliness your facility requires and the steps to achieve that, in the short and long term. The most effective methods, achieve sterility – achieving a virtually 100% kill for most pathogens. However, these methods are generally more complex to deploy and require reasonable budgets. Disinfection can generally be achieved with relatively inexpensive materials and achieve good levels of pathogen control. Biosafety works with you to allow you to make an informed choice for your individual need.
Methods and Validation
One of the key parameters to consider with any decontamination method, is how you know it has been done and worked. Biosafety has experience with a wide range of decontamination methods and their respective “test and verification” methods. In the most demanding cases, we use accredited third party laboratories (NATA etc) to provide trustworthy verification of the decontamination cycles success. Some of our most frequently used methods include; F10TM* application and fogging, Liquid Chlorine Dioxide fogging, Netbiokem Fogging, UVC irradiation and our premium sterilant, Chlorine Dioxide Gas application.
